The FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) to focus on building enablers, strengthening industries, and empowering women to scale their enterprises

·         From AI and digital literacy to MSMEs, financial inclusion, and policy advocacy, we are aligning our work across sectors that truly matter-  Puja Sharma, 43rd National President of FLO

New Delhi: During the current financial year 2026–27, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), the business  women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry—will prioritise initiatives that create enabling ecosystems, strengthen key industries, and support women entrepreneurs in scaling sustainably. Its efforts will span critical areas such as artificial intelligence, digital literacy, MSMEs, financial inclusion, and policy advocacy.

“Platforms like FLO play a pivotal role in enabling women to engage with global issues, build influence, and lead with confidence. At FLO, we believe empowerment is not just about access—it is about exposure, inspiration, and transformation. It is a platform where entrepreneurs find direction, leaders find purpose, and women find their voice” said Ms Puja Garg, the 43rd National President of FICCI FLO addressing the inaugural event of her term.

“Under new vision for 2026–27— “Strength Within. Scale Beyond.”—FLO is transitioning from activity-driven engagement to measurable, outcome-led impact. Our focus is clear—build enablers, strengthen industries, and enable women to scale. From AI and digital literacy to MSMEs, financial inclusion, and policy advocacy, we are aligning our work across sectors that truly matter.” Said Ms Puja Garg.

“In a short span, this vision has translated into action. From healthcare partnerships reaching underserved women, to enabling women-led startups through the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to equipping women with AI skills through our collaboration with Google, we are building both scale and substance. Our global partnerships and the launch of the Raipur Chapter further strengthen our national footprint.” She said.

A deeply meaningful moment in this journey was receiving the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala, reminding us that leadership must be rooted in compassion, clarity, and purpose. Alongside large-scale initiatives, we are also creating more intimate, engaging platforms for our members. One such initiative is our “Live, Learn & Laugh” series, designed to bring our community together in a lighter, interactive format, while learning a new skill each month. Because growth is not just about scale—it is also about connection, creativity, and continuous learning.” She added.

Major highlight of the inaugural session was the hosting of a renowned journalist “Palki Sharma Live: Power, Perspective and the Stories that Shape Us” - spotlighting global narratives, leadership, and the impact of informed storytelling. The session was thoughtfully moderated by Kalyani Chawla, Founder & CEO of Rezon Luxury Silverware and former Vice President at Dior India, who brought elegance and depth to the conversation.

The Inaugural event was graced by the presence of Past Presidents, Governing Body Members, and the vibrant FLO and YFLO community, whose continued support strengthens the organization’s vision and impact.

A special note of gratitude was extended to Title Sponsor Sunita Kanoria, Governing Body Member and Past Chairperson – Kolkata, for her generous support. Appreciation was also conveyed to gifting partner The Splendor of Kashmir, led by Governing Body Member Varuna Anand, for adding a touch of elegance to the evening.
