Mumbai:
Johnson’s Baby, the world’s No.1 baby and childcare brand, today unveiled its nourishment
range, Milk and Rice Range, through a first-of-its-kind cultural concept
titled "Poshan ka Pehla Sparsh’ which entails the world's
first Food for Skin Ritual for babies in Mumbai. The launch featured
renowned actress Parineeti Chopra, who took part in a symbolic ceremony
celebrating a baby’s first skincare ritual alongside 30 mothers, each
accompanied by their little ones.
Inspired
by the traditional Indian Annaprashan ceremony that marks a baby’s first intake
of solid food, Johnson’s Baby reimagined the milestone through the lens of
skincare with its ‘Food for Skin Ritual’. From the very beginning, nourishment
is the foundation of a baby’s growth, and milk and rice are often among the
first ingredients mothers lovingly choose - trusted for being gentle, nourishing and
comforting. Inspired by this timeless belief, the brand brings the goodness of
milk and rice into skincare to help nourish delicate skin, protect its natural
softness and support healthy-looking skin from Day 1. More than just skincare,
it is care inspired by nourishment.
Speaking
about the expansion of product portfolio, Dr. Dilip Tripathi, Head of Baby
& Women’s Health, Research & Development, Kenvue, said, “Parents
today are far more conscious about the choices they make for their babies and
are actively looking for products that combine trusted ingredients with proven
safety and care. With the Milk & Rice range, we want to bring together the
goodness of ingredients like milk and rice that families have trusted for
generations with formulations that are gentle, nourishing, and backed by
science. ‘Food for Skin Ritual’ is our way of celebrating a baby’s very first
skincare ritual and turning it into a meaningful moment of love, protection,
and Johnson’s care you can trust.”
The
launch comes at a time when Indian parents are increasingly moving towards
ingredient-led baby care solutions rooted in familiarity, safety, and
scientific validation. Industry trends indicate rising demand for clinically
tested baby care products inspired by traditionally trusted ingredients,
particularly among millennial and first-time parents who are prioritizing
preventive and specialized skincare from infancy.
Commenting on being part of unique Food for Skin
Ritual ceremony, brand
ambassador Parineeti Chopra, new mom and Bollywood actress said, “As a new mother, I have
realized that every ‘first’ in a baby’s life becomes a cherished memory. While
we often celebrate milestones like a baby’s first words or first food, I have also
come to understand how important early skincare is, because a baby’s skin is
incredibly delicate and needs gentle nourishment from the very beginning. What
I truly loved about Johnson’s Baby’s ‘Food for Skin’ philosophy is how
beautifully it draws inspiration from trusted ingredients like Milk and Rice, ingredients
we naturally associate with care and nourishment. I am delighted to be a part
of this thoughtful initiative that transforms baby skincare into an emotional
and culturally rooted celebration through the unique Food for Skin Ritual.”
