ACC, the cement and building materials company of the diversified Adani
Portfolio, continues to empower regional construction professionals through
sustained technical engagement. In Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, contractor Hargovind
Verma’s 19-year journey from masonry to managing over a dozen active sites
showcases the long-term value of such field-level partnerships.
Hargovind began his career as a mason and steadily
gained knowledge through hands-on experience. While he initially experimented
with various cement brands, his association with ACC marked a turning point.
With regular site visits from ACC engineers, he adopted better construction
techniques that improved his execution quality. He also visited the ACC Kymore
plant to understand the cement manufacturing process and participated in
technical workshops in Sagar, further building his capabilities.
Today, he manages 12 to 13 construction sites
across Sagar district, relying entirely on ACC. As an engaged member of the ACC
Reward Connect programme, Hargovind has qualified for insurance benefits and
leverages all company initiatives to enhance his work. His story highlights how
ACC’s practical support is helping contractors grow sustainably and deliver
consistent results.
