Mumbai : EuroSchool, one
of India’s leading K–12 school networks, proudly announces that Rhea Kundapur,
a Grade 8 student from EuroSchool Airoli, has achieved her second Guinness
World Record for the Fastest 100m on roller skates using two wheels,
completing the distance in 20.22 seconds in Belgaum, Karnataka. This follows
her earlier Guinness World Record for the Fastest 100m on inline skates,
clocked at 11.21 seconds few years back. With these milestones, Rhea now stands
as a multi Guinness World Record holder, inspiring students across the nation
with her exceptional dedication and performance.
Rhea
joined EuroSchool Airoli in Sr Kg and discovered her interest in the skating
through the co-curricular program, ASPIRE where specially curated programs in
sports and performing arts empowers a child to discover themselves. Focused
training, guided mentorship, a nurturing environment and support from the
school helped her strengthen her skating skills. Beyond her Guinness World
Records, Rhea has participated in Basketball tournaments and has taken part in
Inter-House Football Competitions, highlighting her well-rounded approach to
sports and her enthusiasm to explore diverse athletic avenues. Her success is
backed by a strong support system of her parents, her coach and her school, EuroSchool
Airoli, which provided her with a safe, encouraging environment to explore
different opportunities.
