Bhopal: Under the guidance of the Madhya Pradesh
Tourism Board, a divisional-level Registration and Guidance Workshop will be
organised on November 12, 2026, at Hotel Palash Residency (MPT), Bhopal. The
workshop will commence at 1:30 PM and aims to encourage more homeowners and
property owners to become part of Madhya Pradesh's growing tourism sector
through the registration of Home Stays, Farm Stays and Bed & Breakfast
(B&B) establishments.
The workshop is being organised by the Madhya Pradesh
Tourism Board in association with the Home Stay Owners Welfare Society, Madhya
Pradesh. Interested citizens from Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions, including
Bhopal, Raisen, Vidisha, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Harda and Betul
districts, as well as nearby tourist destinations, are invited to participate.
Individuals who own houses, farmhouses, heritage homes or
suitable residential properties that can accommodate tourists can explore
opportunities under the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board's Home Stay Scheme 2026
and other relevant tourism initiatives. By registering their properties, owners
can become part of the state's tourism ecosystem while creating opportunities
for additional income and local employment.
Registration Process and Government Schemes to Be
Explained
During the workshop, officials from the Madhya Pradesh
Tourism Board and representatives of the organising organisation will provide
detailed information on the registration process for Home Stays, Farm Stays and
B&B units, the list of required documents, available government schemes and
benefits in the tourism sector, and training facilities.
Participants will also receive guidance on how to register
their properties, understand the applicable procedures and avail themselves of
the benefits of relevant government tourism initiatives.
Who Can Participate?
Residents of Bhopal and nearby districts who own suitable
houses, farmhouses or residential properties that can provide accommodation to
tourists are encouraged to attend. Existing Home Stay operators are also
welcome to participate and benefit from the guidance and information provided
during the workshop.
Interested participants are requested to bring photographs
of their property along with the relevant available documents for guidance
regarding the registration process.
