~ EDIGE 2026 Brought
Together Researchers and Academicians to Explore Emerging Technologies
Sehore: The School of
Computing Science and Engineering (SCOPE), VIT Bhopal University, successfully
hosted its first IEEE International Conference on Emerging Digital Intelligence
and Generative Engineering (EDIGE 2026) from October 30-31, 2026. Held in
technical co-sponsorship with the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section and in
association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, the two-day conference
brought together researchers, academicians, industry experts and students from
across the world to showcase breakthroughs in the transformative evolution of
artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, and generative systems
that are now shaping the future of automation, decision-making, knowledge
representation, and digital ecosystems.
Reflecting the conference's
strong research focus and selectivity, EDIGE 2026 received 2,388 paper
submissions from 750 institutions across 10 countries, of which 220
peer-reviewed research papers were selected, recording an acceptance rate of
9.21%. The programme featured 36 technical sessions across eight specialised
tracks, with keynote addresses by Prof. Mukesh Kumar, Professor, IIT Indore,
