Carlton Wellness Retreat, Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva
Centre and Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir to come together at Sai Vishnu Chaturvatika as an integrated ecosystem for hospitality, Ayurveda,
education and nature-led living
Ongole, Andhra Pradesh: EBG
Group, a fast-growing, diversified business group with interests spanning
multiple sectors, today marked the commencement of work on a new model of
wellness-led living in Ongole with the Bhoomi Puja for an integrated
development spanning over 55 acres at Sai Vishnu Chaturvatika. Gurudev
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of The Art of Living, laid the foundation
stone for a destination that brings together Carlton Wellness Retreat, the
Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva Centre, and Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir
within a single ecosystem.
Envisioned
as an ecosystem where living, healing and learning come together, the
development will bring wellness-led hospitality, Ayurveda, holistic education
and nature-based living into one destination. Carlton Wellness Retreat will be
developed by EBG Realty, while the Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva Centre and
Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir will be developed by The Art of Living, with
all three designed to function as interconnected elements of the larger
development. The ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Dr. Irfan
Khan, Founder & CEO, EBG Group; Suresh Goyal, Group President, EBG Group;
and Hari Kiran, Co-founder, EBG Group.
Speaking
after the ceremony, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, “The development in Ongole is bringing
together wellness, education and a deeper sense of community in one place. True
wellbeing is not just about keeping the body healthy; it is about taking care
of the body, breath, mind, intellect, memory and ego. Yoga and Ayurveda can
help keep the body free from disease, while breathing practices like pranayama
and Sudarshan Kriya can help make the breath calm and steady. Meditation can
help free the mind from stress, while knowledge can help free the intellect
from limitations and prejudice. When all these aspects are cared for together,
we move towards a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life.”
Commenting
on the development, Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder & CEO, EBG Group, said, “Choosing wellness-led real estate is
a conscious decision to shift from passive living to active wellbeing, where
clean air, natural light, holistic healing, and community are seamlessly
integrated into daily life. At EBG Group, our 55-acre development in Ongole
bridges sustainable engineering with conscious living, incorporating low-carbon
practices, climate-responsive design, and native landscaping to ensure a
reduced carbon footprint. This initiative directly aligns with Honorable Chief
Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary ambition to transform Andhra
Pradesh into a global destination for wellness, spiritual economic growth, and
happiness.”
Further,
Suresh Goyal, Group President, EBG Group noted that the heart of the
development will be Carlton Wellness Retreat, which is being developed by EBG
Realty with a proposed investment of ₹45 crore. The retreat spans approximately
105,139 sq ft, comprising 36 plots and 35 two-bedroom villas. The villas will
form the core of the retreat, creating a low-density setting for wellness-led
living amid landscaped surroundings. The retreat is envisioned as a premium
hospitality destination where accommodation, nature and wellbeing come together
within the larger ecosystem.
The
Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva Centre will form the Ayurveda and
holistic wellness component of the development. The centre will offer
physician-guided Panchakarma, rejuvenation and preventive wellness programmes.
It is being conceptualised to support both shorter wellness programmes and more
immersive residential Ayurveda and Panchakarma experiences. Its integration
within the larger development will allow Ayurveda and holistic wellness to
complement the hospitality, nature and community environment.
Meanwhile,
Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir will bring a holistic approach to
education in Ongole. The school will complement academic development with
values, culture, character building, physical wellbeing, creativity, yoga,
meditation, environmental awareness and a connection with nature. Situated
within the larger development, the school is designed to allow greenery,
outdoor experiences, sustainability and community engagement to complement
conventional classroom learning.
The
Ongole development reflects EBG Group’s vision of creating wellness-led
destinations that integrate hospitality, traditional wellness practices,
education, nature and community. The development also seeks to demonstrate how
Tier-2 cities can leverage their natural and cultural strengths to develop new
models of destination-led growth and create environments centred on wellbeing
and quality of life.
