Bank of Baroda's Global Brand Ambassador and Chief Guest for the Foundation Day celebrations, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, launched the new bob World app, the Bank's mobile banking platform

Established as a strategic hub for technology, research, digital transformation, and innovation, it brings together talent, emerging technologies, and collaborative ideas on one platform to accelerate the development and scale-up of future-focused banking solutions . Leveraging the Bank's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 certified development service processes, Arohan GCIC will enhance service discipline, quality, and institutional capability . It will drive holistic transformation while nurturing a culture of innovation aligned with the Bank’s vision to shape the future of financial services . New & Enhanced bob World: Bank of Baroda launched its new app built on a modern, scalable digital architecture
. Designed around evolving customer needs, the platform offers a smarter, simpler, and safer banking experience featuring AI-driven capabilities, hyper-personalized experiences, conversational banking, multilingual services, enhanced authentication, and fraud protection . It also features a 'Personal Finance Management' tool that enables customers to gain complete visibility of their finances, track spending patterns, and plan financial goals . UPI Global – International QR Payments Acceptance: Bank of Baroda introduced 'UPI Global Reverse Acceptance', enabling foreign tourists, NRIs, and international wallet users in eligible countries to make seamless payments across Bank of Baroda's UPI QR merchants in India using their native banking or fintech apps

This initiative eases payments for international visitors while creating new business opportunities for merchants, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to innovation and strengthening the digital payments ecosystem . ATM NFC-Based Tap & Transact: As part of its digital transformation initiatives, Bank of Baroda is enabling NFC functionality on its newly deployed ATMs and Cash Recycler Machines (CRMs), becoming the first in the industry to offer this feature
. Once implemented, customers can complete ATM transactions simply by tapping their NFC-enabled debit card on the machine's reader, eliminating the need to insert the card . This contactless functionality will provide customers with a faster, more convenient, and secure transaction experience .

Applicable exclusively to RERA-approved projects, the scheme provides a structured financing solution with flexible repayment options and phased loan disbursements aligned with project progress . bob PAL (Portfolio-Backed Approved Limit): Bank of Baroda launched bob PAL, a digital overdraft facility against eligible securities, offering access to financial limits of up to ₹5 Crore
. Available against shares, mutual funds, bonds, debentures, and Sovereign Gold Bonds, it enables customers to meet short-term personal or business liquidity needs instantly without liquidating their investments, allowing them to continue enjoying investment benefits such as dividends and bonuses .

bob Agniveer Scheme: Bank of Baroda launched the 'bob Agniveer Scheme', an MSME financing program tailored for Agniveers retiring under the Agnipath scheme
. The scheme provides need-based credit of up to ₹5 Crore for setting up new ventures, expanding existing businesses, or meeting working capital requirements . Featuring attractive concessions, CGTMSE/NCGTC support, and simplified collateral norms, the scheme aims to empower ex-Agniveers through entrepreneurship, contribute to job creation, and strengthen the MSME ecosystem . Corporate Invoice Financing: Further strengthening its supply chain finance solutions, Bank of Baroda launched Corporate Invoice Financing for MSMEs with an annual turnover of up to ₹500 Crore, ensuring faster access to working capital

The solution enables anchor corporates to extend invoice-based financing to their suppliers and vendors, improving liquidity, optimizing working capital, and ensuring timely payments across the supply chain . This initiative strengthens business partnerships while enhancing access to finance for MSMEs .

bob Green Plug – Financing India’s EV Infrastructure: Bank of Baroda launched 'bob Green Plug', an MSME loan scheme designed to finance the setup and expansion of EV charging stations, battery-swapping infrastructure, and allied facilities nationwide
. The scheme also supports renewable energy-integrated charging infrastructure, including rooftop solar-powered charging stations . Masterstroke Current Account: Bank of Baroda introduced the 'Masterstroke Current Account', a premium current account designed for businesses
