Mumbai : AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB), India's largest Small Finance Bank
and the first institution in more than a decade to receive in-principle approval
from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for its proposed transition to a Universal
Bank, today announced the elevation of Mr. Yogesh Jain as Deputy Chief
Executive Officer (Deputy CEO), effective July 25, 2026, following approval
by the Bank's Board of Directors.
The elevation
reflects AU SFB's commitment to strengthening its leadership architecture as
the Bank continues to scale its franchise, advance its technology-led
transformation and pursue its long-term strategic ambitions.
A Chartered
Accountant with over two decades of experience in the financial services
industry, Mr. Jain has been associated with AU for more than 16 years and has
played a pivotal role in the institution's journey from a leading NBFC to
India's largest Small Finance Bank. During his tenure, he has successfully led
several critical functions, including capital mobilisation, treasury
management, financial institutions, strategic planning, operations, technology,
digital banking, credit cards, customer experience and unsecured lending.
As Chief
Operating Officer, Mr. Jain has been instrumental in driving AU's enterprise
transformation agenda, leading technology modernisation, digital innovation and
operational excellence across the organisation. He has contributed
significantly to building scalable platforms, enhancing customer experiences
and enabling AU's evolution into a technology-driven and customer-centric
financial institution.
In his new role,
Mr. Jain will continue to work closely with Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Founder, MD
& CEO, to drive enterprise-wide execution, strengthen operational
excellence, accelerate digital transformation and support the Bank's long-term
growth agenda.
His elevation
underscores AU SFB's focus on leadership continuity, institution-building and
creating a future-ready organisation positioned for sustainable growth in an
evolving banking landscape.
